Rocinante

Rocinante is a mobile tool trailer built for members of the Olympia community experiencing homelessness. After our team met with people from Camp Quixote, a group founded to help people experiencing homelessness, we decided to build a mobile tool trailer so that they would have a way to transport tools to sites around town in order to do landscaping and small building work.  The trailer is equipped with drawers and cubbies to house tools. There is also a built-in workbench and side panels which open up to provide a covered work area. I worked on the design/build of the trailer, interfaced with members of Camp Quixote, and did much of the fundraising for the project.
